Below is an example of a complex statistical analysis. We know that the answer can be as
complex as the type of law being passed, as such, we are seeking an average
expense, all things considered, in order to ultimately determine relative expense ...the cost related to the size of government, population, need, et alii. For instance, did you
know that it, typically, costs more to pass a law than the cost of the problem which it is designed to resolve? Did you,
also, know that our Congressmen, in this modern day and age, are encouraged to pass approximately 100 laws each, per year, in order to secure their seats for future elections (some
to be used as riders)? Yet, minimal law is the American
Way, rather than such a malaise of one-up-manship. Adding to the complexity of the posed question, it is important to note
that our Government's reports do not necessarily reflect the whole truth. So, in the manner of a game, we have posted, herein,
the serious question:
How much does it cost, on average, to pass one law in America?
Let us compile this analysis together. Below, please, feel free to submit your own data list
to those of your fellow statisticians and ours. The totals will be updated regularly until, at some point, we have a complete
data base available for your daily reference, at which point, we will pose another statistical question for group analysis.
We can turn this potentially monstrous project into a game for everyone! Fun!!! ...n'est ce pas?
